Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. She made her screen debut with her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for Best actress. The actress speaks French, German, English and Romanian easily. Her mother is professional instrument player. The father of the family is an actor and theater professor at one of Romania's top drama schools. The Romanian Young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. It was the European Film Promotion Board named her a European Shooting Star in 2008. She was a teacher of the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for four years. bAnamaria Marina is a Romanian actor born from Iasi Romania on 1 April 1978. Aside from her remarkable performance in her debut movie she will also remain in the memory of her work in the Romanian Arts Film 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days which earned her many prizes, including the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. The actress acted as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 3 days (four months, three weeks and two days) in which she was honored with three weeks, four months and two days) which was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. In addition, she appeared as a character in the Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she was a character in the film Yasim anwar in the BBC miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of an episode of the Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegel's highly acclaimed Five Minutes of Heaven. In the feature film Fury (2014), she appeared as Irma the German woman, who served as Emma's aunt.
