Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter when she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for three of its last four seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were featured on episodes of the show and helped to push her debut album from 2012 to in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached number ten. Her decade was rounded out with performances for Dancing with the Stars. Released in 2021 was The self-doubting Voices. Growing up in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. Later, she would be pursuing a recording career. However, she began her professional life as an actor who made her screen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. guest appearances on TV shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she was cast in the role of Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season 2007-2008. Kramer appeared as Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as well as Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before joining the cast of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in the year 2009, where she stayed until partway through the series' final season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time in One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted the contemporary song "I Won't Let Go in the 2011 One Tree Hill episode. The album was released after a period of two months on the 23rd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was in fourth place. The same year, she had a hit adult contemporary song with Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
