Since 2007, she has been the judge for Britain's Got Talent television talent competition on ITV. In the weekday mornings, she co-hosts Heart Breakfast radio with Jamie Theakston. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent most of her childhood in Bishop's Waltham. At nine, she joined Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden has also appeared on TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also a participant in three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington", starring Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. He co-starred with Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama. Along with Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge in Britain's Got Talent. She was the judge on Britain's Got Talent from 2006 until 2006.
